The Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Lycos London Guide ("London Guide"). If you do not agree to this Agreement you should not proceed.

The London Guide is supplied by Globalvision Online Limited ("Globalvision") and all transactions and information supplied therein are owned by and managed by Globalvision. Lycos Europe GmbH has warranted Globalvision to supply the London Guide for the Lycos channel, but Globalvision accepts responsibility for all content and transactions within the London Guide.

License
Subject to your compliance with the terms of this Agreement, Globalvision grants to you a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable and royalty-free right to receive information and make transactions on this site, solely for your lawful personal use. The right to receive the information is not transferable. As a customer you are hereby granted a single copy licence to download or print one copy of any of the information within the London Guide for your personal use. Commercial use of the Guide and its content is prohibited.

This Agreement and the Licence granted in it shall continue until Globalvision announces its termination, and will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with the limitations described in this Agreement. In the case of termination, all information downloaded or printed from the site must be destroyed immediately.

You may not: modify any of the content on this site or use it for public display, performance, sale or rental; remove, modify or alter any copyright or trademarks.

Copyright
Unless otherwise stated the copyright of all content and functionality within the London Guide is either owned by or licensed to Globalvision. All content is also protected by intellectual property laws. Globalvision's content may not be reproduced, copied, edited, published, transmitted or uploaded without the written permission of Globalvision.

Lycos logos found on this website are registered trademarks of Lycos Europe GmbH. Lycos Europe GmbH's logos may not be used by a third party without the express and written permission of Lycos Europe GmbH.

Jurisdiction
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England, without reference to conflict of laws principles. This Agreement is the entire agreement between Globalvision and you and supersedes any other communications or advertising with respect to the London Guide. If any provision of this Agreement is held unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to give effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. The headings used in this Agreement are for convenience only, and shall not be given any legal import. Any item or service furnished by Globalvision, the Information Providers or its or their respective affiliates, agents, Licencees and Licensors in furtherance of this Agreement, although not specifically identified in it, shall nevertheless be covered by this Agreement unless specifically covered by some other written or electronic agreement accepted by you and an authorized representative of Globalvision or such other party as the case may be. You agree to comply with all U.K., U.S., foreign and local laws and regulations which apply to your use of the London Guide including without limitation, export control laws and regulations.

Changed Terms
Globalvision shall have the right at any time to change the terms of this Agreement or require new terms and to change, impose conditions on or discontinue any aspect or feature of the London Guide.

Buying online
The London Guide allows customers to purchase a range of products from accommodation to one-day tours and theatre tickets.

Accommodation
Once you have chosen the arrangements you would like to book, and we have confirmed their availability for your chosen date, you must confirm that you wish to make the booking. When booking accommodation, credit card details are taken to secure the booking, with payment being settled directly with the accommodation venue on checking out.

One Day Tours
In other instances the full amount is deducted from your credit card in advance. If you cancel your arrangements, you will be liable to pay the following cancellation charges:

Up to 7 days prior to departure - 15% of cost of arrangements
Less than 7 days prior to departure - 100% of cost of arrangements

Further, if you wish to cancel your booking, you must inform us of this by email.

On rare occasions, as a result of unforeseen circumstances outside our own or our suppliers' control, it may be necessary for us or our suppliers to alter or cancel the arrangements you have booked.

In the event of cancellation in these circumstances, we will provide a full refund. In the event of a supplier being unable to deliver any element of your booking, alternative arrangements will be made by that supplier, ensuring that a similar service and standards are met, or, alternatively, but only in extreme circumstances, the arrangements will be abandoned, and a full refund given.

We make every reasonable effort to contract only with reputable and competent suppliers. However, we cannot be held responsible for any actions and omissions on the part of those suppliers and therefore can accept no liability whatsoever for any death, personal injury, loss or damage of whatever kind which you may suffer whilst participating in arrangements booked through us, unless caused by our negligence.

If you have a complaint whilst participating in the arrangements you have booked, you must inform us as soon as possible in order to give us the opportunity to remedy the problem. Failure to do so may affect your rights to claim any compensation from the supplier.

Entertainment Tickets
Policies set forth by our clients (promoters, producers and venues eg. stadia and theatres) prohibit Globalvision from issuing exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made.

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT (17.5%) unless otherwise stated.
